Zagato TZ3 Small Series

After the high-end design company in Italy 2010 Zagato  has unveiled the TZ3, the model is easily modified to appear as a small series. Zagato was the occasion of the 100th TZ3 Alfa Romeo built birthday.Actually, there should be only one study, but a birthday gift. 2010 celebrated the Italian car maker Alfa Romeo’s 100-year anniversary. Zagato, itself part of the aesthetic history Alfa Romeo took the anniversary as an opportunity then to launch a sports car based on the Alfa Romeo 8C super athlete. The  Zagato TZ3 was given the same drivetrain as the missed 8C. Furthermore, the Italians have a dress made of sheet metal clamped, reminiscent of the sports cars of the 1960s. Especially the tail stands out distinctly from the usual sports car dimensions of today.

A German collector has provided the impetus for the individual pieces on the 100th Birthday given. He has had a race version built on the basis of the Alfa Romeo 8C – the  Zagato TZ3 Corsa. From this specimen of the Zagato TZ3 wants to make a small extended family.

Zagato puts on nine copies of a street version of the sports car. Behind the name Stradale Zagato TZ3 is hidden but not Zagato version of the Alfa Romeo 8C more. Instead, the design takes office back to a different manufacturer from the Fiat sphere of influence. Instead of screaming Italian V8 is in the new small-TZ3 an American V10. New base is the Dodge Viper. Her naturally aspirated V10 makes 600 hp. A piquant detail at the edge is that the really well-mannered street version 180 hp more so in the balance throws, as the racing version.

As for the optics, has the Stradale Zagato TZ3 Corsa version compared to little change. Only you can see the details of American origin. The roof line, for example, as well as the Rückpiegel clearly come from the shelf of Bauer’s Dodge Viper.

Price is the Zagato TZ3, however, a little bit above its technology-donor. The prices of built up 2010 Dodge Viper started well with $ 92,000, or about 65,000 euros. Zagato calls for the TZ3 Stradale contrast, all 500,000 euros. So if you get a whiff of any nine TZ3 can indeed be comforted with the technical base.
